Best-selling cookbook author and chef, Mollie Katzen, signed her new book, Get Cooking, and spoke with guests, during lunch at Holloway Commons on Friday. Katzan will join Whittemore School of Business Hospitality Management students who will be hosting a “Simply Southern” gourmet dinner at Stillings Marketplace Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s dinner is sold out, but tickets for tonight’s gathering are still available for $50 dollars, and can be purchased online at www.wsbe.unh.edu/gourmetdinner.

University of New Hampshire Chef Kate Dolan puts the final touches on her cornmeal-crusted fillet of trout at the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) northeast regional Culinary Challenge held at Holloway Commons Monday night. Today’s highlights in the three-day conference include a showcase in the MUB from noon to 2:45 pm and a dinner/Presidential Awards/and Culinary Challenge Awards at Phillips Exeter Academy at 8 pm.
